A Southern Belle at heart, LaShawn was born and raised in Lancaster, South Carolina. She is a proud military veteran, certified wedding planner and special event planner. LaShawn gets her drive and entrepreneurial spirit from her mother, who always encouraged her to find her calling and be the best she could be at it. Through BDE, LaShawn is on a mission to do just that – to be the best at doing what she loves the most – planning dream weddings, building and leading a successful team in the event and wedding planning industry. She draws on her military experiences in event planning to create personalized, one of a kind events and weddings full of memorable details on any budget, size or style.
